  Pre-Bar / Bat Mitzvah School

It is the objective of our school to provide a well-rounded Jewish education for all of our students.  We offer classes beginning at kindergarden through 13 offering a B'nei Mitzvah program that fits the childs abilities and desires.  We offer opportunities for our teenage children to learn and embrace their Judaism as well.  This education encompasses many parts of Jewish life and faith.  We strive to provide an education that is an enriching experience for all of our students.  We focus on having fun and making our childrens time in class fun and stimulating.
Our curriculum  incorporates parents with our youngest childeren allowing parents and children an opportunity to enjoy Judaism together.  We maximize our time in class with activities centered around learning Judaism by means of tactile experiences.
We also offer classes in Jewish religion, culture and hebrew for those children preparing for their Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

The school also encourages youth group activities and offers periodic adult education classes.  It is our aim to enrich the Jewishness of both parents and children.

Akhlah- Learn the Aleph Bet, the Hebrew Alphabet, has 22 letters (five of which appear in a different form at the end of a word) which are all consonants. Hebrew is written from right to left. During the years a system of vowels called nikud were added, but these are mostly seen in school books and prayer books. Newspapers, signs, magazines and most other printed materials in Israel today do not use nikud. Take your first step in learning Hebrew by learning about the Aleph-Bet.

Akhlah- Each day Akhlah presents another hebrew "Word of the Day" to help increase your hebrew vocabulary.

Akhlah- Printable hebrew worksheets for practicing.

Akhlah- Coloring pages.
